THE CURRY CLASSIC RODEO QUALIFIER

**The Curry Classic Rodeo Qualifier stands alone. It is not part of the average for The Curry Classic show Friday & Sunday. The Saturday qualifier is for contestants to compete to make it back to ride in the rodeo performance Saturday night.
**YOU MUST QUALIFY to run in the rodeo. We will bring back the top 2 in each division in each class (top 24) from the Saturday morning qualifier.**
NO BUDDY PASSES THIS YEAR!
Pee Wee (0-8) qualifiers ONLY will be allowed ONE buddy pass for the rodeo performance. Youth and Open qualifiers are not allowed a buddy pass.
FAQ:
1. If we are coming to compete in The Curry Classic 2026, do we have to enter the Rodeo Qualifier?
NO, The rodeo qualifier is a separate show; you can enter to try to qualify to run in the performance Saturday night. If you do enter and qualify to run in the Saturday night rodeo, it will be $500 added, $0 EF and the winner will get an award check and trophy saddle! All qualifiers will get a felt back number for the rodeo.
2. Can I run in the rodeo without having to qualify?
NO, you must qualify to run in the rodeo. Our qualifier round is Saturday morning March 21st. There is no way to compete in the rodeo without qualifying. The top 2 from each division in each class (from Saturday morning) will qualify to compete in the rodeo performance.
3. Do rodeo qualifiers get a buddy pass?
Open and Youth qualifiers DO NOT get buddy passes this year, Pee Wee qualifiers only get ONE buddy pass for the performance
4. Do we get in free to the rodeo as a Curry Classic 2026 competitor?
The only way to get in free to the rodeo is if you are a qualifying competitor (top 24) from Saturday morning qualifying round, OR a qualifying pee wee competitor buddy. All non qualifying competitors and guests will need to purchase a ticket to the rodeo. It is not mandatory to come to the rodeo.
5. Where do we purchase tickets to the rodeo performance Saturday Night?

6.What are the class age restrictions?
Pee Wee Class (0-8), Youth (9-18), Open (all ages), Farmers Bank Shootout (open - all ages)
These age restrictions do calculate as of January 1.
7. If hook ups and generator spots are sold out on Saddlebook, what do I do?
You will need to contact the Kentucky Horse Park directly to book your accommodations through the KHP Campground. (fees apply)

8. Are there still stall available?
YES! Stalls are MANDATORY for the weekend, there are plenty available with no means of running out. Stall price is $150/weekend, this is a weekend price, this is the price whether you are coming for one day or all three days, price does not change.
**NO DAY HAUL INS, NO TIE OUTS, NO EXCEPTIONS**
9. What is the move-in and move-out schedule for competitors that correlates with the stall charge?
Move In for competitors begins Friday morning March 20th @ 8:00am, Move out for competitors is by Monday morning March 23rd by 7:00am.
Any competitor still on the grounds on Monday morning March 23rd after 7:01am WILL be charged an additional day.
10. Is there an option for early arrival for competitors?
YES! Early arrival begin on Thursday evening March 19th at 5:00pm, ALL competitors planning on arriving early will need to make those arrangements directly with Kelly Curry 859.797.4368. Early arrival fees will apply.
11. How does The Curry Classic 2026 work?
The Curry Classic 2026 is a 4D average barrel race combining your times from Friday - March 20th and Sunday - March 22nd for a weekend average. There will be day payout as well as average prizes awarded at the conclusion of the weekend.

13. Is the Curry Classic Rodeo Qualifier apart of the Curry Classic 2026 average barrel race?
NO, they are two different shows compiled into one weekend!
The Curry Classic 2026 4D average barrel race will run on Friday - March 20th & Sunday -March 22nd
The Curry Classic Rodeo; qualifier will run Saturday morning March 21st and the rodeo performance will run Saturday night March 21st
14. When will pre-draws be posted?
Online entries for The Curry Classic 2026 and The Curry Classic Rodeo Qualifier will close on Monday March 16th and pre-draws will be posted on Saddlebook on Wednesday - March 18th
15. When will stall assignments be posted?

16. When will hook up/generator assignments be posted?
There will not be assignments posted for theses, our K Bar C Ranch Productions grounds crew will be organizing and parking all assignments depending on the size upon arrival to event.
